The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nations largest grass-roots organization providing support, education, and advocacy for individuals affected, either directly or indirectly by mental illness. NAMI Pennsylvania is a state-wide organization affiliated with NAMI and providing support for NAMI programs across the state of Pennsylvania. We are NAMI PA Cumberland and Perry Counties, an affiliated organization that provides support, education and advocacy within Cumberland and Perry Counties. Though we are a non-profit corporation formed under that laws of Pennsylvania, our efforts have developed us into a caring community that we sometimes reference as our NAMI Family.
NAMI PA Cumberland/Perry Counties’ mission is to improve the quality of life for those who are impacted, directly, or indirectly, by mental illness by providing support, education, and advocacy. Through community collaboration, support groups, and educational offerings we promote a life of quality and dignity - one without discrimination - for all people affected by mental illness.
