The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grass-roots organization providing support, education and advocacy for individuals affected, either directly or indirectly, by mental illness. NAMI Pennsylvania is a state-wide organization affiliated with NAMI, providing support for NAMI programs across the state of Pennsylvania. We are NAMI PA, Cumberland and Perry Counties, an affiliated organization that provides support, education and advocacy within Cumberland and Perry Counties. Though we are a non-profit corporation formed under the laws of Pennsylvania, our efforts have developed us into a caring community that we sometimes reference as our NAMI Family.
NAMI PA, Cumberland and Perry Counties’ mission is to improve the quality of life for those who are impacted, directly or indirectly, by mental illness by providing support, education and advocacy. Through community collaboration, support groups and educational offerings we promote a life of quality and dignity - one without discrimination - for all people affected by mental illness.
